This is it the holy grail of 2 tone record collecting, a record so rare that it is fabled that only 40 copies were every produced to promote the 2 Tone Story album of 1989; how many survive is unknown but not many for sure. This is my personal copy that took me decades of hunting to acquire and for which I am heartbroken to have to part with. Of note this EP contains one of the few recordings of Madness's One Step Beyond on 2 Tone Records, the other being the Dance Craze LP.

It also offers another outing for Madness on the chequered label via the inclusion of the live version of ‘One Step Beyond’ from the Dance Craze soundtrack."

This is not a cheap record but is quite literally a piece of 2 Tone record collecting history that only comes up for sale once in a blue moon if at all nowadays and to be honest if I don't manage to sell it I won't be too upset if I end up keeping it as I will be unlikely to ever acquire another. The record is in great overall used condition and plays well with only minor crackles and pops (please see images). The record shows signs of play including spindle marks and has only been played once by myself and then SpinCleaned and stored in protective sleeves.

Why not complete your 2 Tone collection by acquiring this ultimate missing piece; can you be sure it will ever surface again? The sense of satisfaction I gained from acquiring this was unreal and whilst sad to have to say goodbye it would be great to see it go to a loving home. Given its rarity and the extreme collectability of the 2 Tone label this should hopefully represent a great investment; will you ever get another chance to own one if you let this go?
