Vinyl: DENA BARNES If You Ever Walk Out of My Life NORTHERN SOUL NM DJ 45 listen

This stellar example of this 45 comes direct from the collection of a Virginia DJ who ran a radio station out of his basement, back when you could do that sort of thing, in the 1960s. His 45 rpm records were impeccably kept in nine file cabinets, three rows of singles wide, in alphabetical order by label. The vast majority were NM, such as this one, the only flaw on most being that he wrote the date on each one, presumably the day it arrived at his radio station as a promotional single from a label. His collection was exceedingly rich in small labels from Pennsylvania to the Carolinas, Michigan, Ohio, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Texas.
