Vinyl: Louis Smith on Blue Note 1594

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Louis Smith “Smithville” on the West 63 (no “Inc”) labels of Blue Note BLP 1594. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a high luster; a needle drop on Side 2 Track 1 tics for six revolutions; perhaps played once. The laminated West 63rd cover is bright and clean throughout; 2” split at the center of the bottom seam, with ¾” wear. Personnel include Charlie Rouse, Sonny Clark, Paul Chambers, and Art Taylor.
