Description: Unpublished “Lost Capitol tapes” with Heifetz’s pianist Brooks Smith on piano. Due to commerical pressure, this was from the last time Rabin stepped into a recording studio. H owever, Capitol decided not to publish these recordings at the time, prefering him to record a 2nd “Magic Bow” due to it’s commercial success. In 2012, Capitol open up their vaults and finally released these amazaing recordings; a triumph for fans of Michael Rabin and the Violin around the world.
