Vinyl: Beatles-1966 Capitol "Yesterday & Today" 3rd State Stereo Butcher Cover-VG/RARE

The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. The Beatles-"Yesterday & Today" LP, Capitol ST-2553, released in 1966. This is a very scarce third state Butcher cover pressing (there were five Mono copies manufactured for every one Stereo). I'm listing this as a third state rather than a first because I can see what looks like some glue remnants when the cover is held to the light a certain way. The seams were once all taped. The tape has been removed (you can still see the stains) and all the seams have been glued. The back cover shows some wear. The front presents very nicely with a little age wear, but no tears, touch-ups, etc. that a lot of them show. I'd grade it at a weak VG. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG condition. This includes an original inner sleeve, in nice shape with two partial seam splits. Iconic Beatles LP, in overall nice shape.
