A deep groove pressing of the Kelly Great album by Wynton Kelly on Vee Jay Records (VJLP-1016). Note, the front cover reads: "Kelley Great" and "Wynton Kelley," while the back cover gets it right with "Kelly Great" and "Wynton Kelly." The personnel includes Philly Joe Jones, Lee Morgan, Wayne Shorter and Paul Chambers.
The labels are maroon/dark purple and read "Vee-Jay Records." The machine-etched matrix reads: "L8-OP 2583-1" on side 1 and "L8-OP 2584-1" on side 2. This is a deep groove pressing.
Condition:
The front cover has ring wear and a fair amount of creasing along the edges and some of the corners. All of the edges and corners have wear. The top seam is entirely split and open. The paper cover on the bottom edge is also worn and entirely split, but much of the underlying cardboard is intact -- there is about two inches from the right corner that is completely split. The spine worn and is split and open five inches from the top left corner, as well as an inch from the bottom. The back cover is clean with ring wear. There is about five inches of tape residue along the top edge, as well as a single piece of yellowed tape at the corner in the left.
The vinyl is VG (6 out of 10, vinyl is definitely used with a fair number of light scratches, scuffs and marks on both sides; there are a couple visible scratches and marks worth noting on both sides, which is to say that I would expect pops/crackle/potential skips throughout, particularly side 2). This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.

I will combine shipping if you win multiple items. Also, I tend to recycle boxes, but I always make sure to pack items, particularly records, securely.
