Vinyl: T.J. JOE TORRES Get Out Of My Way / Soul Cha 1966 ACETATE DEMO 45 LATIN BOOGALOO

• This is an ORIGINAL 1966 8" ACETATE DEMO OF THE U.S. CREST RECORDS 45 titled 'Get Out Of My Way' / 'Soul Cha' from Latin boogaloo man T.J. (Joe) Torres. This 45 was released commercially on Crest Records catalog number 101 under the artist name T.J. Torres, who later recorded on the World Pacific label as Joe Torres. This demo was recorded at Western Recorders studio in Hollywood, California, and was part of a small collection of acetate demo recordings I recently purchased from the estate of a former model who worked in California during the 1960s.
  

Condition of acetate demo record is EX with one or two visible surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play - This acetate demo plays with some scratchy surface noise which is inherent in acetate demo recordings, which consist of a thin vinyl coating over an aluminum disc. Labels have some contact wear and a little bit of staining from moisture, no other real flaws. As I have not been able to locate any 8" record sleeves this acetate demo will be shipped in a clear soft poly liner. Opening bid price for this ONE OF A KIND ACETATE DEMO is based on previous eBay sales of the corresponding Crest label commercial 45, and this acetate demo is a much rarer item - It would be a choice addition to any 1960s Latin 45 record collection!
