For sale here is the extremely rare 1965 UK MONO FIRST PRESSING release on the BRUNSWICK label of the band's debut album "MY GENERATION".

This is an original 1965 UK pressing. The label states "MADE IN ENGLAND". It has the early matrix numbers. It is pressed on the thick vinyl. The front laminated sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition with NICE SHARP EDGES with clear spine text. It has the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Grooved' Brunswick label - SEE PHOTOS.

THIS IS A VERY RARE RECORD AND IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND - IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ONE IN THIS CONDITION.
YOU WILL BE SERIOUSLY PUSHED TO FIND ANOTHER ONE AS GOOD AS THIS.
THIS COULD WELL BE YOUR FINAL UPGRADE.

WHAT MAKES THIS LP SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE EARLY 1ST MONO PRESSING.

IT CARRIES THE 1/B 1/B MATRIX NUMBERS.

WHAT IS MORE IS THAT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION - IT CLEARLY HASN'T BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!

It is one of the most stunning Sixties records that I have ever had in my possession. Quite amazing.

THIS COPY REALLY HAS BEEN LOOKED AFTER.

VINYL: The thick vinyl is in excellent condition.

Still bright & shiny.
Quite stunning for a record that is 50 years old.
There are some very light surface marks but you will be hard pressed to find a better copy.
A real thing of beauty.

LABELS: The black Brunswick labels are in excellent condition.

The labels are grooved which denotes the early pressing.
They are free of writing & there is no print loss.
The Side 1 label shows no sign of spindle marks.
The Side 2 label has approx. 4 spindle marks.

INNER SLEEVE: The original polythene lined inner sleeve is in excellent condition.

There is some creasing but it is still in great condition.
The sleeve states "Made in England" & "Patent Applied for".

SLEEVE: The sleeve is in excellent condition.

It looks nice & flat.
There are no rips & no writing on it.
The front cover has very shiny laminate.
The opening edge is nice and sharp & straight.
There is the slightest hint of an impression where the record has sat in the sleeve but you really have to look to see it on the front cover.
The remnants of the original price sticker can be seen in the top left hand corner. This residue could easily be removed with a cloth and the correct cleaning solution with no damage to the sleeve.
The unlaminated back of the cover is in great condition. It is nice & white with very little sign of grubbiness or aging.
The cover is graded as EXCELLENT+
Very minor edge & corner wear in places (see photos).
This record looks as though it could have been bought last week. AMAZING!
