This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Clifford Jordan and John Gilmore “Blowing in From Chicago” on the New York 23 labels of Blue Note BLP 1549. The playing surface is in exceptional condition, with just a single mark on Side 2 Track 2 (“Evil Eye”) that is audible seven times. The laminated West 63rd cover is clean throughout, with normal age toning on the back slick; professionally repaired spine and bottom seam look normal.
