Vinyl: RARE original 1966 1st press SUN RA Arkestra "Other Planes ..." SATURN RECORDS

Extremely rare, and almost never found in the UK , is this original & very obscure 1966 MONO 1st press AVANT GARDE JAZZ classic (KH 98766) by SUN RA and his SolarArkestra "OTHER PLANES OUT THERE" on Saturn Records, Chicago. I have listened to it all the way through and to say it isn't an easy listen would be the understatement of the century !! However, jazz isn't really my bag and I am sure there are many cool cats into this 1960s ground-breaking sort of stuff. The album sleeve has a little wear and a rubbed section to the top of the front. The album condition isn't bad - it plays all the way through without any jumps or sticking. However there are a few background clicks on side one and a few longer ones on side two. Saying that though, it is still very playable and I would imagine is a very rare survivor. I wouldn't have thought many were originally sold. A real hardcore jazz connoisseur's item. Obviously not mint by any means, but a good starter album until perhaps another surfaces, if ever. If you are looking for mint then a CD is the way to go, but a good thing for the enthusiast to have in their collection. Sold with the above defects and no returns. PROBABLY VERY VALUABLE IN MINT CONDITION.
