You are bidding a RARE & ORIGINAL 45 RPM record by
Titled - Movie Magg & Turn Around
This was his first record. It is on the FLIP label, #501, from 1955. Flip was a division of SUN record label (Sam Phillips).
Complete with the push marks on both sides.
Dead wax numbers: 45 – F – 19 72 & 45 – F 18 72.
Condition: I will call this overall VG++. Some friend have called it M- but I don't call a record mint unless its absolutely perfect. "Movie Magg" has only a couple of very hard to discern pops (I’m trying to be as perfect on the condition as possible). "Turn Around" plays the same. Overall, extremely high level.
There are very minor scuffs probably caused by in and out of the sleeve, on both sides, but very minor. Still has a great sheen to the wax.
Labels are very clean (please see photos).
This has been in my collection for 40+ years, and was purchased in West Virginia from a high level collector.
There will be no disappointment with the condition of this record. Years ago, while negotiating for the record, the guy told me he played it once and was no Carl Perkins fan. I bought it, played it once, and put it in my rare record box. It’s been there all these years. Time to part with my rarities – age catching up with me.
Shipping cost could be less, depending on final auction price. Please bid with confidence – GUARANTEED ORIGINAL. Thank you.

Someone just asked if it is warped. I responded: Just played it - there is an extremely small difference other than perfectly round - I would not call it a warp - plays perfectly. On May-20-18 at 06:26:02 PDT, seller added the following information:
Thank you to all those who have emailed me discussing what a great rockabilly star Carl Perkins was. A truly well love star. And thanks to all those who are watching this auction - wow, so many.
