Vinyl: 1966 THE BEATLES RARE 2ND STATE BUTCHER BLOCK ALBUM YESTERDAY AND TODAY STEREO

This item is one of a fantastic collection of vintage Beatles related memorabilia from my personal collection of over 40 years that I will be posting to Ebay in the coming weeks! Included in this offering will be some of the most rare and collectible Beatles items ever seen! Also included will be many of the more common items. CONDITION NOTES: This is the rare ORIGINAL 2nd state version of the famous Beatles "protest" album who's initial cover featured the band dressed as butchers with dismembered dolls and meat strewn about at butchers table. The band was protesting Capital Records habit of "butchering" a song from each previous release in order to then release this album and make more money. After the initial public outcry regarding the cover, Capital recalled the albums and pasted the "Trunk" cover you see before you. This is a (mostly) unpeeled 2nd state album which clearly shows that the "Butcher" cover in intact underneath. I show the indications in pictures below. The album has some edge wear including a 1.5" split on the lower right corner and some significant paper loss to the top edge, although it is not split. The front has some age and wear related discoloration but it is light, as you can see. The back has similar wear. PLEASE REVIEW THE PICTURES BELOW TO JUDGE THE CONDITION FOR YOURSELF.

Please note that the camera picks up lint and dust resting on the toys and accessories that may appear as flaws. Please examine each picture carefully for actual flaws keeping in mind that most of these toys look far better in person than they do in the pictures. I will note in the CONDITION NOTES any details or flaws that are not readily apparent in the pictures but please keep in mind that I sometimes miss a small problem.
