Vinyl: The Beatles, SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND 1967 1st ISSUE WIDE SPINE 1G
Catalogue No. PCS 7027.
This is a beautiful early first issue with single numbers and letters stampers 2 M & 1 G, of the iconic 1967 Beatles Album Release, SGT Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. This first issue has a fully laminated, wide spine gate-fold sleeve with internal flip-backs, a flame inner bag and an unused SGT Pepper cut-out sheet.
Side
1 Matrix and Stampers, YEX 637-1 & 2 M. Side 2, YEX 638-1 & 1 G.
This LP has the most amazing sound quality through all tracks and plays with an extremely clear sound quality from beginning to end, without clicks, pops or skips and no background noise, and an easy 9/10 for play quality.
RECORD LABELS.
Both record labels are in beautiful Near Mint condition with only a couple of play signs around the centre of each label .
VINYL SURFACES.
Both vinyl surfaces are simply beautiful, clean and glossy surfaces to both sides without scratches or scuffs and in Near Mint.
THE FLAME INNER BAG AND SGT PEPPER CUT-OUT.
Both are in beautiful Mint Minus condition.
THE GATE-FOLD PICTURE SLEEVE.
The Garrod & Lofthouse Gate-fold Picture Sleeve is also a beautiful Near Mint example with ultra high glossy front, centre and back panels with undamaged edges and a square wide spine. There is just a mild hint of LP storage and a couple of tiny corner bumps.
